Modern. Monochromatic. Balance of texture. Ask, and Hayley will share that her signature design style gravitates toward a visually clean and sophisticated look. A space that balances streamline with creative texture for an impactful juxtaposition of design elements.
Hailing from Texas, Hayley holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Dallas, and offers ten years of expertise and knowledge in the interior design industry. In Dallas, Hayley worked professionally with an architectural firm, affording her the additional technical experience necessary for overseeing design projects from the schematic phase through final construction.
More recently, Hayley was both an interior designer and manager of the expansive showroom for Contemporaria, a high-end, luxury furniture and contemporary interior design company in the Washington, D.C. area. These dual roles fostered Hayley’s passion and extensive knowledge of many illustrious European luxury furniture brands, including: Cesar, Minotti, Paola Lenti, Rimadesio and more.
Over the years, Hayley has met with great success designing projects in California, Texas, New York, and Miami. Today, as co-founder and principal designer at Cosentino Interior Studio, Hayley is now making her design mark here in Washington D.C. one clean, contemporary, modern line at a time.
Warmth. Personal. Attention to details. Sophia’s overall design approach is to create warm and welcoming environments with both color and material, blending the interior and exterior design scheme to compliment and reflect the unique needs of her clients. The ultimate goal: A space her clients love to live in.
Sophia received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Planning from Catholic University of America in Washington D.C., and is currently working toward obtaining her architectural license. Her diverse design background offers impeccable experience in both interior and architectural design, giving Sophia considerable insight into the overall building process and enabling her to coordinate with contractors, engineers, vendors and city officials from the conception to completion of a design project.
For Sophia as an architectural designer, the fine details are the most important part of her work. From her experience with various construction projects in the healthcare, retail, residential and commercial realms, Sophia believes the fine details–like a carefully constructed built-in cabinet or a perfectly placed window–are the design touches that set a project apart. At Cosentino Interior Studio, we couldn’t agree more.
